Semper Fi (Gerard),

Check out this guy. He makes Aluminum trailers here in LA and just did a really nice one for my Scarab. The price was right and the quality seems first rate to me. I have owned 4 aluminum trailers ("Slide On", "So. Florida Trailer", and "Float On") and this is the best one. I am assuming you don't want to spend $12k on a Myco. His will be half that.

You can come over to Carlsbad to check it out since it's in my driveway until end of this week.

Did I miss the pics of the new Powerplay? Where are they?

See ya

Jody,
Thanks for the info. Good to hear from you. The deal on the Powerplay isn't totally done yet, so I don't want to jinx the deal. As soon as the deal is done, I will get some pics out. I would have bought your Powerplay, but I wanted inboards.
I talked to Bill over at Myco, and I have decided to get a Myco, the cost is approx. $8900 for the trailer. I think they are a little expensive, but so is the boat sitting on top of it. I have a few friends with Myco's, and they are all exceptionally satisfied. I am a customer service guy, so I want to go with them.
How's the offshore beast doing? (Scarab)

Gerard,

Awesome price for an aluminum Myco. You've got connections. You can PM me a secret photo of the PP. No jinxing that way.

Scarab is just about out of the shop for small stuff. Filling a few holes, redoing some rigging that was poor. I will be doing some prop/setup testing next weekend. Should be good to go after that.

Sounds like you and HavCig and I need to run over to Cat in March/April.

The run is April 24th.

Jody,

I am ready for a run to Catalina whenever, let me know. The boat needs to go to Teague to have a tach looked at, but other than that it is ready for a run.

Gerard,
Congrats on the new boat. Are you still doing loans?

Buying a boat, and opening an office? Sounds like you found your calling.

All the best!

Jody,

Why don't you bring the Scarab out to Havasu for the run? We have plenty of room at the house.
