Black Thunder invites you for a test ride

Friends,

If you have time while visiting the Miami Show and would like to demo the new 46' Black Thunder, please feel free to stop by Sunday's on the Bay restaurant on Key Biscayne (just east of Miami Seaquarium) I'll be there on Saturday and Sunday from early morning to dusk. If you're not in the market for something this size or price, come by anyway, we're happy to share the Black Thunder experience and usually have a spare seat for our OSO friends.

Thanks,

Steve David

GO4BROKE 02-10-2004 05:21 AM

Would be worth the trip for a ride on a great boat in Feb. !

I guess brokers don't want people to give demo rides maybe? Maybe Titos knows him and is poking fun?

Back to the origional post, I wish I was going, every time I see 3 or 4 parked accross the street at Stonecrest I always go take a look. They are monsters and i would love to have one.

Great offer again Steve.
I'm sorry I'm going to miss this years show.
Have a great time.

Cignificant 02-10-2004 07:22 AM

I've ridden in a friends 43' - what a blast! Nice of you to offer, and I'd like to stop by to see what the newer boats have to offer.

Our first experience on a Black Thunder was on a demo ride at a Poker Run on Lake St Clair MI, many moons ago. We talked about what a smooth ride it was for years. Finally last year we got our new to us 43 Black Thunder and have been happy with the ride and the layout of the cabin. Now if we'd only win the lottery, the 46 is looking pretty good:D :D :D :D
Have a great show.

klmken 02-10-2004 08:39 AM

I did a ride with Steve in 2002. It was the most memorable part of my Miami Boat Show experiences!! 73+ mph in a 46. When I can get my real estate career in high gear I'll own one of these one day for sure!
Thanks, Steve

Sincerely,

I believe this is the case.

jafo 02-10-2004 10:14 AM

We took a ride with Steve last year in the 46 equipped with twin 525's. There were five of us on board, half fuel and Steve thought we were somewhere around 15,000 lbs.
We ran over 70 on the GPS that day across Biscayne Bay. Unforgettable experience!
We hope to stop by and and at least say 'hi' since we missed you in Detroit this year, Steve!

Guys and gals,

You're all welcome to come on over. My cell is 954-980-2643, otherwise just come on by and we'll have some fun. The owners of Black Thunder, Bob and Don Jenkins have been very gracious in letting us just have a ball and share the fun with anyone who likes boats. Some folks buy, some don't, most important, is that we can share our passion. As you may know, I don't work for Black Thunder, I'm a customer. Never made a penny selling one of thier boats, never chose to. Just very appreciative that they ask me to handle the demo rides at the Miami show. Sorry that it offended this poor Suncoast fellow, Life is so joyful with so many great people, maybe he was just having a bad day...... ;)

Take care,

Steve

PatriYacht 02-10-2004 11:37 AM

That's a very generous offer Steve. Wish I could get out of the frozen tundra to take you up on it. :D

wouldn't spam be "hey I got a boat for sale and have more than 14 posts, not hey even if you aren't looking for a boat come go for a free ride on this BADASS boat?

morons

*now if I could only get a ride on this cool yellow boat down in the columbus area, I hear it runs almost 50 and is pretty cool for a v-hull:p ;)

ST31 02-10-2004 01:34 PM

Wish I could take advantage of the offer.

Thanks,

ST31

gdfatha 02-10-2004 01:43 PM

Steve,

The offer by you and the BT team is much appreciated. Unfortunately we can't make it this year.

Have a great time and a very safe and successful time with the Unlimited O'boy Oberto. It's time the red, white and green has the noisey red boat in the rear view miror..:D :D

Ms. INXS 02-10-2004 01:52 PM

Hey Steve,
John and I are coming to Miami tomorrow for the Boat Show. Looking for 60' to 100'. I have your cell number maybe we can hook up.

Kent Perroux 02-10-2004 02:19 PM

Hmmm,

Black Thunder...Outerlimits...Nortech, Cig Tiger; decisions, decisions... I suppose a test
ride might be in order.

Hopefully I'll get a chance to stop by..Kent

US1 Fountain 02-10-2004 03:56 PM

A friend has a 46BT. Great boats, great BIG boats! :D

US1 Fountain 02-10-2004 03:58 PM

The 4 man bolsters are the only way to poker run!

Von Bongo 02-10-2004 04:34 PM

Unless it is the 5 man on the 46ec. Those are pretty sweet.

IDRPSTF 02-10-2004 06:28 PM

Not to worry, look for me in the black Pantera t-shirt, it goes with the orange Pantera 24 that I just purchased.
The boat should be delivered this weekend.
You will have to show me how to handle it.:D

SteveDavid 02-11-2004 03:14 PM

T2X, Craig: You guys are Bad, good bad of course, but bad nonetheless..... T2X, in your case however, I want to help you so wait in St. Pete at the Law offices of ................ and just keep waiting...... :)

George, congrats on the Pantera!!! Great boat and even greater people building them.

See you this weekend.

Steve
