I heard that the original hull was damaged and that Mark McMannus built a new hull for it. Hence the ''98'' designation.
If anyone has any different info, please chime in.

So will everything else that weighs half as much. It's just the most realistic number I've seen on an Apache in awhile. Already powered and ready to go. You can work from there.

It's always something with you, pick, pick pick :D Personally i'm all about the horn :cool:

The weight difference isn't that great. With 3 525's in a BT the weights would be close but the BT would run upper 70's. It's a faster hull. Not that I meen to start an argument about which hull is the best, but if you're bargain hunting for a pleasure boat this Apache is imho not a good choice. To make this boat run well would take too much money. There's another 47 with 3 900's and a nice paint job in Boat Trader for 185,000 that looks like a better deal.

I agree. The Apache is much older than Black Thunder though.

I'm not shopping at all. I don't want it but someone wanting a big boat might. I was just cruising through the classifieds and saw it.

I am a fan of the really outragous 47's like Broken Arrow or Medicine Man but I don't have the cubic $$$ to play with them. When one of those things pull up everyone looks.

I posted about that boat about a year ago and got some feed back on it, do a search on 47 apache or me and you should find it. It's been for sale for a very long time and has some bad history so long ago I don't remember it all.

I bet they would take 120k for it.

I was in that boat in Nov. and it was sitting out in the weeds behind American Offshore, it is ruff,and everything was soaked. What a shame, 47's are awsome.

Sounds like someone could pick this up for a song.
