Afterwards they agreed they lost a few boats, (including their top two crowd pleasers) and some press.
So, what do they do????
They schedule SARASOTA on the same freaking weekend...
AGAIN !!!

Anyone sure there will be a shootout this year. Been hearing rumaors about Shooters not opening. And now I found this:

FYI, I'm pretty sure those are shooters docks for sale. Hmmm, a shootout without Shooters?

Yea, I'm sure it will happen. There's enough momentum that they could do it with out shooters. Perhaps the horney toad? Remember, they have some vacant land next door.

Cord,
Shooters has always been a big sponsor, and getting the WP permission and no wake, permits, locations, etc is not trivial at LOTO.
Just wondering if another resteraunt/resort would take the trouble to pick it up. This is what happened with the boat races at the Lake.

i had heard a rumor that shooters had sold to a group of investors from K.C. one of the first things they were going to do is sell off the old docks and replace them with new. is there any validity to this?

Looks like the docks are for sale, but I didn't hear about the buyer. I'll call BWJs owner, he usually keeps up on this stuff. Just hope I can get a slip this year.
BTW, these docks look familiar too?
