George Sr. is into go-fast fish boats. He has a Fountain open with twin Merc outboards. His boat is kept in a special lift in a marina in Kennibunk (sp?) Maine. A friend of mine has his boat moored directly next to George Sr's. rig. He has visited with George many times on the dock. George likes to chat but, they don't chat long, the Secret Service guys whisk him into the boat as soon as they are done inspecting and searching it before each use.

Bush's boat is the only one in the marina on a lift. The lift is required so the Secret Service guys can inspect all surfaces for bombs, etc.

And yes,,,,,,,, George drives his own boat with a couple of Secret Service guys on board and a couple in a RIB as escort. And, according to my friend, they do not pay any attention to the no-wake zones. They get in and they go, and they go fast.............and nobody says a word about it!!!

Hey... those are the kind of perks I like ... get to ignore no-wake zones.... I'd run for President just for that privilege.... :p

Thrid bird, You are right George sr. comes to my parents cove in ogunquit, perkins cove. Everything is very smooth, he will come and have lunch and he`s out. George an Barbara will come in followed by the s.s. And yes they do fly.
