Default Miami Trip 2004 (long)

Just got back from FT. Laud. Spitfire and I went to the Miami show, it was great, spoke with John Tomlinson, Randy Scism, and Craig Barrie among others, all are quality gentlemen. Stu Jones invited us to the FPC party at the Clevelander on South Beach...great time. We stopped at TNT and went through some of their photos in the sales office area, those guys are very hospitable. Also went to American Offshore Marina where a friend of ours keeps his 30' Spectre, went for a cruise but when we got to the inlet at FT Laud. the seas were running about 8' and we were getting soaked so we turned around to avoid damaging the boat or ourselves. We saw "Animal House" heading out when we got back, that boat sounds bad a$$. We climbed all over Don Johnson's old 50'(?) cat which is out back, would make a nice poker runner if someone had big time, big money, and big power. Lastly, I highly recommend visiting National Marine at the Executive Airport, they have some very nice toys in a hanger so clean you could eat off the floor, if you were into eating off floors. Sat in a Outer Limits 37 GTX that had the most comfortable, ergonomic helm I've ever sat at. Spitfire and I will try and get some of the pics posted...Matt
