Boat Transport Question
Hi all,
Moving to FLA and need my boat transported. I was wondering is it better (or cheaper) to have the carrier use your trailer or have them provide one - do some use tractor trailers? It's easier to sell a trailer (from what I hear) in the Northeast than in Florida. Also, I have been told that marinas really bang you out to store them. |
If you can wait a few months it will be a lot cheaper since all the towers are going south empty. I found a local guy that had his own trailer.

my move will be in a couple months. I hear rates run from $1.30 - $1.50 / mile. If any of them are out there, drop me a line.

Ill be headed down empty from NY on April 1st if I can be of any help

Shooter,
Give me a call sometime at 207-232-9273 I'm heading down there, about the same time. Kurt. Thanks for the referral Fred! |
Let me know if we can be of any assistance. :D:D
We have been moving boats up and down the east coast for a while. |
so wjat do you guys prefer. On my trailer or you own?

Hey Shooter, I'm a boat transporter located in Maryland. I can transport your boat on my trailer or yours, it's a little cheaper if it's your trailer. I can transport your boat on the day you want and can also provide other services such as shrink wrapping.

ultimately, I'd rather sell my trailer up here and not have to pay to store it in FLA. I heard the marinas charge the same as a boat.
