Just wondering if anyone bought a boat at the boat show?

Decided it was better to eat than to boat,

Probably the wrong decision!!!!!!!!!! boat was a great deal, but it was cutting it too close, had to walk away.

Rick, what day were you there? I was there Sat.-Mon.

I was there Friday, took the day off of work, hung with TimG, and Jay13, went to the PRA party Friday Night.

I was in the Concept Tent, and DROOLING, Well, we all know my budget, and that wasnt happening, great people, let me climb all over them, but had to tell them I couldnt swing the payments.

Well, I walked out of their tent, and across the aisle was what looked to be a slightly used Concept????

Had the concept style paint, and all. BUT it was a "Condor", never heard of them, but the price was good, 24* deadrise, 25 footer, single 250 Merc o/b on a bracket, on Aluminum Trailer, 2003 Demo boat(had a few scrapes, had a 225, but he was gonna throw in the new 250 for a few $$, yadayadayada. Good Price, guy was willing to work payments on my terms, payoff curent debt, give me book for my current boat, I figured how the heck can I go wrong with this deal, so I told him to start the paperwork, and find out the payments/terms, etc. and call me on my cell, so I could go see the rest of the show.

Well, I got over to the in-water show, and there was a few go-fasts there, got me thinkin, "is a center console really right for me??" I am not so sure, and not ready to make payments just yet, so I pondered til Sunday ignoring his phone calls(I know kinda rude, but in a way I wanted to say yes and was afraid I would if I spoke to him) til Sunday when I finally had to say "thanks, but no thanks, sorry for wasting your time, but it is a little too much right now, and I wont settle for any less than 24', and 60mph!!!!"

So, your workin the bar over at old whatchamacallit??? We were at Bostons a few weeks back on a Friday, and were going to stop in, but our guests had just flown in from PA, and were bein' lame, wanted to go get some "sleep?". Next time.

I am gonna have a few of the local boaters over for a Bar-B-Q in a few weeks, gonna be in town???
