I read on The Hull Truth that Boston Whalers are 100% chopper gun. There was a heated conversation going on about it, but the guy who swore they were 100% chopper gun had a friend who worked in the Boston Whaler plant and said that that info came from him.

Well, I found their web site. It listed a speed of 57mph with three 225 hp engines for the 48'? Nothing about layup other than to mention using best laminates available? It does say bi and tri directional mat. As far as wood, it does mention divinycell core so maybe they aren't using wood? No mention of any wood. I'll take a look at one in a couple of months when I get the chance. No need to flame a company for shoddy over weight offerings unless they are really out to pull a fast one.:rolleyes:
