And about how much HP and TQ can they handle? The TQ rating is 738ft lbs (1000nm). There are boats out there running 1000-1200 hp, and doing fine. Just depends on what kind of maintenance interval you want to follow. None these have let go, but it's understandably harder on the gear sets. Then again, if you have 1000hp motors, what's your maintenance interval on those? If you can get 100 hrs out of a 1000hp mill, and you can get 100 hrs out of the drives, you're in good shape. Right? The key message here is they're living just fine behind a wide range of power packages. Good stuff. Brian |

Brian I think I found the indicator actuators they should be here by the end of the week. I'll let you know how they work out.

Quiet Storm Roger in deep thought. Comminig upo with a custom tie bar connection to clear the mufflers when trimmed up.

Looking good! Have you got your parts for your trim actuators? I have a second set that I'll be installing for my port side throttle station trim indicators, and I'd like to know what size clamps you use to attach the actuators to the trim cylinders. So when does she get wet? Brian |
