Thatta' boy! Clean that crap up! I spent more time cleaning than installing the drives.

Those are sweet! Could those transon assy mount on a box?
And about how much HP and TQ can they handle?

Konrad sells boxes. Not certain what lengths, but their machine shop is top notch, and they can do just about anything. X-dim is what trips a lot of box applications, but if you have the ability to adjust motor heights, it's not an issue. I've been trying talk them into doing a "shortie" lower, which opens up more options in box applications. Their engineering team is looking into it.

The TQ rating is 738ft lbs (1000nm). There are boats out there running 1000-1200 hp, and doing fine. Just depends on what kind of maintenance interval you want to follow. None these have let go, but it's understandably harder on the gear sets. Then again, if you have 1000hp motors, what's your maintenance interval on those? If you can get 100 hrs out of a 1000hp mill, and you can get 100 hrs out of the drives, you're in good shape. Right?

The key message here is they're living just fine behind a wide range of power packages. Good stuff.

Brian I think I found the indicator actuators they should be here by the end of the week. I'll let you know how they work out.

MrCig,

Looking good!

Have you got your parts for your trim actuators? I have a second set that I'll be installing for my port side throttle station trim indicators, and I'd like to know what size clamps you use to attach the actuators to the trim cylinders.

So when does she get wet?

Brian
