Reason for question may give better answers! What info you lookin' for?

I saw a post that a few years back baja may have had some stringer problems, and I am looking to purchase one so I was doing some research before I bought it.
And thanks for the welcome |
All performance boats are prone to stringer problems-especially as age and/or power goes up. I don't think Baja is any more or less prone to stringer failures than any other. BUT you should always have a boat surveyed by a pro before you purchase it. And preferably by a pro that knows performance boats.

Yeah... I had to do some stringer and bulkhead repair on my boat...

I am a Stringer:D What you want to know?
A stringer on a boat is what the motor mounts [plates] bolt to. if some one had a lot of power it will stress crack the fiberglass around them and weaken them . also if someone jumps a lot of waves it will do the same thing . or the have a design [lamination] problem when building the hull. Do a search on it http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/search.php |
