March 13th Gathering at Shell Island
 

Its time to meet at the island, Weather permitting a bunch of us will be heading to St.Pete to gather at Shell Island. Some members of Screamandfly will also be attending. Come on out and say hello.

We'll be making the trip into the chilly north to join you.

Looking forward to meeting more boating buds in person.

Brian are you towing up or driving the boat up.

That water at Shell Island seems to get skinnier every year.

That's the problem. :(

I love the island, but I can't get back there anymore.
The Outboard guys seem to do okay, but I ruined two impellors the last two time I went there.

Yep, there is a lot more water on the south end of the island, but for some reason everyone wants to go to the north side.

Mike, I'll be towing up to the Fort De Soto ramp.
Unless someone has any other suggestions? I'll be towing up from Fort Myers.

I want to go to the side of the Island that accepts beads as currency. :D

OK for all you inboard guys we can pick another location near by.

Hey Mike! Don't go messin up your plans on our account. We can always anchor on the other side of the island and walk across...We just can't get to the inside, where you guys are headin. We'll figure something out.

Brian.. how ya doing man? I am surprised we didnt see ya at the Miami boat show(or maybe you where there and I missed ya??).. I would like to head that way, but I have no idea what my schedule will look like at that time...

Nicky, It doesn't matter where we go just need a place to hang out for awhile maybe do a trip up to John's pass for lunch, just have a friend comin down from South Carolina, want to show him around the area.
Anchoring on the other side is a option also for you guys with those big drives. :D

Same here with the schedule. We've been so busy lately, there was no time for the Miami boat show this year. I am setting aside Saturday the 13th of March for boating. PERIOD!
