Interesting that boat loans are cheaper than a home loan.

A 20 year home loan today with no points is about 5.25%.

If it's a new boat, then the answer is easy, you paid for the lower rate in the price of the boat. If you are going through a broker for those rates, some bank out there is desperate for loans or you have some other fees that are being tacked on to make up the difference.

Feel free to post who is doing them so cheap and what you paid for fees to get the loan.
