normally, I'm a light beer type, but it was so damn sunny and hot yesterday while on the water that I would suggest a frozen drink, like a rum runner....

Gin & Tonic, as a mainstay.

Chopin & Tonic as a back up.

I seem to find a new favorite drink every year.
Here are a few from the last three years.

Summer Brew
Sky Vodka
Sweet and Sour mix
7up
Blvd. Wheat beer
Tall, on ice, all in the same glass....YUMMY!

Parrot Bay
Mango/Tangerine Twister...YUMMY!

This summer, I have decided to like
Parrot Bay
Pineapple juice
Cranberry juice....YUMMY!

Man I am getting thirsty!!!!

Anybody who's boated on the Calumet River outside Chicago knows the best boat drink...the famous Downscope at Skipper's Marina. A couple of those (served in 1/2 gallon milk jugs) and you are feeling NO pain.

My personal favorite concoction: the DEW RUM RUN. Malibu or Mt. Gay Rum and Mountain Dew. Makes you a wide-awake drunk thats for sure.
