I just apply the KISS method. To me at least it's doing something. That in itself makes me feel better.

Next time you are getting gas, go inside and ask them who supplies their gas. That's easy enough isn't it? If it's one of the big two, go somewhere else.

All in all, despite the odds, despite everything else, it's better than doing nothing. If at least we draw attention we have accomplished something. Not sure what, but we have accomplished something.
