My intentions would be to invest it in some way where I could quit my job. I wouldn't expect to not work, only to not do my current job. If I could simply make some money off of investing it, and supplement that with a more enjoyable, less stressful job, I'd be a happy camper.
In reality, the temptation would probably be too great, and I'd piss it away on a new boat and other toys, and still be stuck in my current job.
