Default Towing my TG Maine to WI

I might be towing my rig to Hudson WI, the end of the week to have some upgrades done. What has the weather been like? Are the roads in good shape? Do I stand a good chance of running into heavy snow?

I checked Mapquest and it seems to be interstate the whole way.

Thanks,

Kurt

Kurt,
we are making a trip to go get our bullet. NY to lake of the Ozarks. weather is looking good as long as the weather prediction is right
looks like they will be getting snow on Sunday. so hopefully it should be a dry trip. we are leaving early Thursday and are hoping to be back home Sunday.

Kurt I just saw the Michigan forecast and it's clear thru Monday. Means it is clear there for a couple of days anyway. The roads are fine. Why not bring it in late April then stop by and take me for a ride? NK

BTW Plan you trip through Chicago at noon or after 9pm. Just food for thought.

I can't speak for that side of the state, but I know that all roads south of Madison are clear and dry. It's been pretty warm lately, so any snow would be really wet and sticky. It would proably melt right away.

Rforsey you may want to consider coming home up north and NOT going through Penn. The Penn Turnpike SUCKS to trailer on.

Jon,
Thanks we are going I-90 to I-71 Columbus the I-270 toward Dayton then I-70 Indianapolis. then VIncent gave us a shorter way around ST Louis that will put us on hwy 54 which will take us right into the Ozarks. down town ST Louis is a nightmare. What do you think good route ?

we plan on taking our time on the way home.we are going to meet everyone on Friday and Saturday. and then Saturday morning then head out...
we also want to check out the Lake.

Ron and I always seen to have some type of situation arise, when we went to look at the boat that was when Buffalo had that storm with the winds so high. and the whole way we hit snow, sleet and Rain. so who knows what will happen this time.
I may have to put out an OSO.

Ron, talked to Bob yesterday he was at Lipship getting the trailer ready for towing GLH's 42' home he was wondering about the weather. It looks good for them to.

I live near the IL and WI border. Right now the roads are fine and the weather looks good til sunday, with rain in the forecast. Are you going across the top of Michigan or going around the big lake?? The snow has been melting every day here but I'm sure up north it is still deep and if any precipitation comes thru it will be snow.

Good luck
