28' Daytona Insurance

Looking for the best rates. I had State Farm for my 25' Daytona but for some reason they did'nt like the 28, I just got a cancellation notice from them after a month. When I called to see what was up, they told me they did'nt insure cats. I guess they made a mistake when they insured my 25' for 4 years.

I have had nothing but cats, just bought my first vee. All were insured for 100 plus mph. Boat US had my last three. 23' WPM 900 hp, 30 Spectre twin 300xs, and a 30' Daytona twin 620 teagues. You could also try World Wide Marine.

:( :( :( I thought you were going to say the did not want to insure over 25'...

I don't have a cat but I do have 29'... My Insurance agent is my father in law and is a State Farm agent. Do you want me to ask him if he can get it done?

If your agent *****es sometimes they can get it to happen.

Are your cars and house with State Farm?

That is how I get my boat written. The nice thing about State Farm is you don't have an issue if you have a claim I have heard stories about other boat insurers that write everything and pay nothing.

Brad

If you want to ask send me a PM

State Farm did the same thing with me on my last cat that I owned. In the middle of the summer I get a cancelation notice, and they tell me they don't insure cats.

This has hapened to several people that I have talked to that had state farm.

I payed $3500 a year on my 26' cat, 800 hp, 110 mph. This was three years ago. I don't know what you are running for power, but it sounds like it is in the ballpark.

I am now paying the same for my 01 T/S Gun as I was paying for my cat. V's are much cheaper to insure.
