Downtown42,
This is the performance sheet on the 42 Lightning.
85 was the top end. It seems like the 525's run between 84-86 on the 42's.

Post #6 is a 42 Lightning. It had the 525's in it. I believe it had about 18K worth of options over the base price, xr drives, closed cooling system, silent choice, 2-tone grab handles, all anadized billet accessories, and the list really goes on.
I think Reggie said solid mid 80's with no extra tweakin. So many boats....... so many questions....... so little time........I kinda get em all mixed up. Dan.. correct me if I'm wrong, PLEASE.
They had the complete build sheet and listed all the options with all of the prices on every boat there. I'm gonna go back up there one day this week and see Kelly, and ask her if she would copy all the price sheets with options for me, and then I or Dan will post them all for you guys to see.
I just got my 72 pics I took developed now. BUT....... I don't have a scanner yet, so it looks like Candyman's gonna be V E R Y B U S Y over the next few days. (For the love of the sport) Right Dan??? THANKS..... I'll owe ya big time for this one, buddy.

Did you take any pictures? I'm going to have a nice surprise for the board in the next few weeks. Reggie is going to have his PR person send me some older pictures to post on OSO. I guess we will need another "what's in a name post"!
This is a shot of a sad 10X. He just found out they sold this bad boy!! Don't feel bad I'm sure Scott can get another one for you!!!

Downtown42,
This another shot of the 42' Lightning. The one in front is a 42' also. He had three 42's in stock. All his inventory hasn't come in yet. I know he has a 47' due in shortly.

Looks like the same 'ole race fairing on Lightning. I thought maybe they changed it some. 42X does look mint. Whats the diff between 42 Lightning and 42 X other than the fairing?
