Default WARNING-I have a virus!

No, not an STD like some of you are thinking.

My provider got attacked and sent me a virus through my email. If anyone on here get's an email from [email protected] do not open it!

There are several on here I have corresponded with over the last couple years that may be targeted.

I should have it fixed before the night is out.

Just an FYI.

Can you get a virus from simply opening an e-mail? I always thought you had to either visit a web site or download an attachment?

CAP....You're a smart man. Wish I was as smart as yourself.

I opened an attachment. It was disguised as a notification from my server saying that my email needed updated and that I should take a look at the attachment telling me how to do it.

I know....STUPID!

Nuff said.

PS...Anyone that would like to help me remove this thing is more than welcome to come to podunk Arkansas and do it. I'm too busy changing the tires on my house this week to screw with it.

go to www.symantec.com

they will have a "fix" for it that you can download....but you need to know which one you have.

LOL...That's good to hear Fightclub. I'm not a stingy person. I like to share my spoils with all around me.

HP2000...I'll check that out. I know what I have. If it works I owe ya one. Maybe we can call it even for the Remote Start.

Thanks again all.

I went there and looked around. Doesn't look like they have mine listed.

I have W32/Bagle.i@MM virus. Saw a lot of W32s listed, but not mine? I think it's fairly new. I'll keep an eye open for a fix.
