They were talking about cigarette and Don A... they were showing pics. of 38 guns and tigers running, they said that cigarette boats cost 100 - 250,000 dollars,,, Maybe they were talking about Bullets ???  or maybe they were talking about 1970's prices.. :D :D

They're smokin' some good chit.
Why can't people do their homework first before making a tv show. |

I was thinking the same thing,,, they were saying 150 - 250,000 like it was some enormous amount of money,, little do they know how much these things really cost,, imagine if they priced out a new cig, O.L. or nor-tech..  |
Yep, so true. ...And on most of these shows, it's always some Cig and usually in Miami...Not that either is a bad thing, but it's been done so many times, on A&E, Discovery, Travel Channel, etc.
I'd love to see a documentary on more of the boating scene, with visits to more poker runs, races, manufacturing plants, talking to owners of boats, speaking with different boat manufacturers, touring their plants, showcasing vees, cats, etc. It's always the same thing, it seems. |
Maybe Stu or Jackie should contact them. That way at least the show will be accurate. It would also be damn good publicity!:D Look how much it helped the idiots at Orange County Choppers:rolleyes:

I saw that too and laughed out loud when they said these boats could cost as much as $200,000. I also thought it was funny that they went directly from the Cigarette story to the greasy guy that started Bayliner. Talk about one extreme to the next.
