last time i checked, new orleans wasn't the midwest that happened late last summer in lake ponchartrain. the guy got hurt really bad. it was a "private high dollar poker run" by invitation only. there is a bridge that runs right along that 1 and to this day i don't know how he did that because the bridge openings are a straight shot. from what i understand the driver was booked with BUI and it wasn't alcohol. i think i have a idea where that boat is at, i might go swing by in a few days and get some pics. i was told it's destroyed. but in a bit of irony, the boat was driven back to shore on it's own power.
