Shane -- I know Abby and she agreed to write you a response:

"Dear Shane in NY,

I can see how your significant other might not understand your needs, but that should not deter you. You are a grown adult and as such, you are the master of your destiny. If that floating piece of motorized art doesn't fit into her plans, it would seem you have only two choices -- divorce or "roofies" in her drink. Since divorce is expensive and messy, I would lean toward the "roofies" option. Put a couple in her drink, and get her to sign on the dotted line. Forty bucks and a slight hangover is a small price to pay for marital bliss.

Good luck,
Abby "

Shane
Three words: secret boat account.

I'm sure the national divorce rate would jump higher if some of our wives knew what we REALLY spent on boating
Good luck & never give up!!

NOPE! The GENTRY Hacker with Arneson drives is going away too. Peter Hledin is designing him a VanDam. Rumor has it he fell in love with Freihofer's (the one that was running 80 next to us 2 years ago) and it will be rigged at Performance I believe.

Shane,
I am sure you were no serious about the "only boat to break 100 at Lake Tahoe".... were you?

If you were, please give Harold Cornelius of Discovery Bay a call, I am pretty sure that he has been over 100 at Tahoe in his 32' Skater "Freedom".

A couple of years ago there was also a 40' Skater there for the Poker Runs West Event that was leading Freedom around, so I am sure that one also broke 100.

NO! OOPS! The link did not work right. Go under custom wood boats, then go to Jacqueline.
