Troutly, I will be in the Charlevoix area over the July 4th weekend and then again from July 16-31 (unless FORMULA decides to have their dealer meeting during my vacation). If you can make it up there we need to hook-up and burn some fuel. Just ne advised that if you decide to do the fun run, it will end in Charlevoix on the weekend of Venetian Festival and you will need to book a hotel early if you don't stay on the boat. I will be pulling the boat out that night after the fireworks (don't want to get whipped creme all over my boat from Yzbert's friends!).

This sounds very interesting. I have a very hard time making plans in advance with my work. Can I get in on this a few weeks in advance. I have no problem sleeping on the boat.

steve, i should be able to get you slips for friday night in cheboygan as long as i have enough lead time, hotel there as well. sat. night we are planning on staying on a hook all night in round lake. if you need dockage there that is more tricky. northwest marine may have spots.

Is round lake part of lake Charlevoix. Are you spending the night in the lake because it is to hard to get a slip, I know we would prefer a slip. We like power and air. I would imagine if it is Venetian Night it will be hard.
We have never been to Cheboygan, what's that town like.

cheboygan you might say is a little backwards, couple nice resturants though, oprah house, movie theater, nice marina and views of the bridge. will be hard in charlevoix to get a slip. boyne city, maybe, bay harbor good chance, but if you stay untill after the fireworks it is a night drive anywhere you go. easy drive do it all the time, but very familar with the area as well. there will be alot of boats in round lake for the night. and round lake is the lake between lake mi and lake charlevoix

Rachel and I plan on taking Monday off so we plan on being back on Mackinaw or in Cheboygan on Sunday afternoon!
