I spent 25k putting a fuel injected zz502 in a Denali Yukon, and it never did run. finally took it somewhere else.
I would not let them hop up my kid's tricycle.

The Teague motors are a smokin deal!! There is a 32' 1987 Skater for sale ($70K-no motors) in the classifieds that looks really clean and those 700's would be nice in!

Reed,
I have 3-4 friends who have all had excellent service and care from teague. I realize we can't all be happy at every place.

What was your bad experience with Teague??

They don't suck, they're like the most respected fuel injected specialists on the west coast. And the 625 HP they offer is badass, that red part on top is the custom intake they manufacture, this isn't some lil mom and pop motor shop they got going on in there. It's a major manufacturing plant for high performance engines. But maybe you have something better to offer????

Kenny,
Not to argue with you, but if 3 different people (in this post alone) are saying they had bad experiences with ASM and they didn't get the problem fixed or even return phone calls.....you cannot argue with that! I personally wouldn't give them a chance after hearing of all these problems with them.

Got 200 very hard hours on my motors, no problems, not even a small one. So what am I missing, why the lack of love for Teague?

To be more specific, I spent over 25k with ASM, buying a brand new ZZ502, 4L80E trans, and all the required pieces for the conversion. Sent my brand new 0 miles 2000 Yukon Denali to them to install the beast. They also farmed it out to a stereo shop for 10k worth of upgrades there as well.
Bottom line is they didn't know how to program the ECU. Of course they would never admit that, or try to call anyone esle for help. Just gave me my Yukon back that would puke black smoke and not get out of it's own way.
In addition to that, they did not have it completed even CLOSE to when they said they would, but yet wanted ME to pay the balance of the work AND shipping to me when I had given them two whole months to complete the project and I was in Phoenix to pick the vehicle up.

I would never give them another nickel for anything! Period.

And for 21k, you can buy a lot better motors than a warmed over 496HO.
