VTX is a great bike. Ive ridden one and love it. The new one has a bigger tank which is a big complaint with the previous models.
Vette131, I have a little old Hayabusa I would love to run you with in the first couple gears

Cool

Shane

My partner and I recently bought a Honda and Kawasaki dealership(Fulton, NY). My VTX 1800 C is on order should have it in a couple weeks. Be sure to take advantage of the $1,000 in free accessories from Honda. If I can help in any way let me know (315) 439-2196.

We also just bought a couple boats you might be familiar with. Both yellow - one kilo record - One has a slight deck problem - figured it out yet?

Later

Steve,

NO KIDDING! What the heck are you doing with a yellow submarine and a that 32? Congrats on the dealership! I was not aware of the $1,000 in accessories either. Had the talk with the wife last night and she has changed her tune a bit. Still workin' on it. With her having taken this pay cut to go back for ANOTHER degree, the budget is tighter than usual. I cannot wait for her to get back up to full speed! Anyway, got a few things shakin' here at work, will have more info hopefully by weeks end or beginning of next week.

Shane

bring your busa mr demeanor with no mods & we'll go red light to red light. my first two gears not yours. my buddy gets 9.80's on his 12r but on the street he's mine until i hit 3rd. after that it gets really ugly though. cycle world tested a stock vtx & it ran equal 0-60 with the 12r with a profesional rider. mines not stock & with the 200 metzler out back it's wicked out the hole. love busa's though, i just don't trust myself with that kind of top end speed.

vette, its all good. I just dont understand how a vtx could outrun a 12. My buddies VTX cant touch me off the line. If you look at the 0-60 data for both bikes you see figues no lower 3.5 seconds for a VTX with most being around 3.8. Thats about a full second slower than the stats for a Busa or 12 which range from 2.2 to 2.8 seconds. 1st gear takes me to about 70mph.

PS. I think 100mph in boat is scarier than 180mph on a bike. Ive been 187 gps.
