Tax time joke

Zero Gravity

When NASA first started sending up astronauts, they quickly discovered that ball- point pens would not work in zero gravity. To combat this problem, NASA scientists spent a decade and $12 million developing a pen that writes in zero gravity, upside down, on almost any surface including glass and at temperatures ranging from below freezing to over 300 C.

The Russians used a pencil.

Enjoy paying your taxes -- they're due again

*Note this is a joke. If you take offense to this, or think I am anti America, dont post up here.

The Soviets sure made it in the economic context.

Did you try driving a Lada, I bet even your pencil couldn't fix those wonders of technology.

I was talking to my CPA today about government spending. It kills me when people b!tching about the government spending billions on space travel. People act like that money is gone. We didn't shoot that money into space, it goes to the scientists, engineers, manufacturors, suppliers and such, who in turn buys cars, houses, clothes and food, which keeps grocers, auto line workers, seamstresses and others in jobs so they can buy gas, pencils, pens, mouthwash and so on and so on.

I'm not a big fan of government spending, but as long as it's kept in the US and not spent bailing out some ungrateful foreign power that hates Americans anyway, I'm alright with it.

So stop acting like this money is on the surface of Mars!
