I still don't see any pictures of hull and deck that is finished and in the process of being rigged. But, it would be interesting to see one.

Nort,
You bring your toy and play at my Bat Pad anytime.
I have a play toy too, and the ducks in my pond make great turn markers! I am having an Offshore racer party at my pad in the spring, race what you bring!!!
I have Trailer Trash Barbie at my helm with fake 36 D's,!
Who is driving your toy?
BG XO
PS. Team DONZI have a kicking toy!

CAP071 03-10-2004 04:59 AM

Hey maybe I'll buy a T-shirt! :D

SHARKEY-IMAGES 03-10-2004 05:40 AM

By the look of these pics, there is work in progress. Tooling doesn't just get stamped out. Unless of course you're splashing someone else's design. Clearly this is not the case here. I enjoyed the pics, now looking forward to seeing the finished product......

Daze - LOL!

robyw1 03-10-2004 02:41 PM

You all just didn't catch on. Scroll your mouse for awhile and you will hit an invisible link that will show you actual pictures of finished full size prototype boats. There is a 37, 47, 41, the new 28, and the unheard of Apache 55' with staggered quadruple Sterlings. They even show you a sketch of the new Apache 36 CAT.

It is there just look for it.

robyw1 03-10-2004 02:51 PM

just kidding, I made it up :D

She must have had a reduction because Barbie has measurments of 39-23-33.

Sounds about right to me except too many in the midwest have it wrong at 39-39-39

glassdave 03-10-2004 07:00 PM

pretty good pics of the plug process. hope it comes together. anybody see the bottom of the "latest news" page. says they will be putting up a forum board to highlight progress. heres the quote

"Our New SMOKE SIGNAL discussion board is designed to allow everyone to see the progress of each and every part of the new Apache and it's building system. Click here to view and/or join!

Be warned, there will be NO BASHING or arguing of any nature from anyone!"

really hope they get a boat in the water soon. being a glass guy my self i have to say i am impressed with the method of construction and development regardless of all the friction.

Miller 03-10-2004 09:30 PM

Dave, totally agree that it looks like they are going through a lot of effort to make the molds. But, they were supposed to have a finished boat by now, and they don't even have pictures of a finished hull and deck that's ready to BE rigged, yet alone one that IS rigged. So, I think a number of people are pointing out that none of the boats are finished yet. So, there is a lot of publicity but no product yet.

Still, I hope it works out well.

wwwTOPDJcom 03-10-2004 09:45 PM

so sometime after the boats hit the market, I would expect the lawsuits to start flying

SOX 03-10-2004 09:54 PM

Did anyone else have this pop up on them? I think it's a letter they are proud of but check out the "Sub par" comment about the paint.

SOX 03-10-2004 09:56 PM

OOPS it didn't copy correctly I'll try to do it again

SOX 03-10-2004 10:01 PM

Dear Steve:

My wife and I just attended the New York boat show and we we checking out the Outerlimits boats on the show floor. Maybe we are biased, but we would not take their interiors over the interior you did for us.

Everyone we show the boat to flips out. Even though our paint in not up to par, the great interior makes our boat look like new. We appreciate all the unexpected extras you threw in. Thanks for delivering on time, on budget and a quality product.

I wish you luck and I am sure you will bring Apache to the next level.

Sincerely,

SOX 03-10-2004 10:07 PM

My Bad, after reading this again I guess the interior was redone on a old boat.
