Ok then.. You should lower the gearing...
This can be done by simply using smaller tires.
An ole' Toy with 35" Mud Terrains won't pull a wave runner out of the ramp..

Bypass the cat in the exhaust.

Small world. I have an 86 runner sitting in my driveway. It's been in my family since new and has seen just about the entire united states including Alaska. It just rolled over 230k and still going strong. As for towing... Well my dad pulled a 4500lb camper 60 plus miles with it once. I wouldn't suggest doing it again. I did pull a glastron carlson CVX20 with an OB with it once. It was adequate but nothing special. The best thing that truck has going for it is 4gear.

Sorry I don't know any ways to increase it's pulling power. I just drive mine back and forth to work.
