Easy everyone, Dave P. and Typhoon Marine are some of the fairest and nicest people in the offshore industry. Let's face it a boat's value is in the eye of the beholder, owner, wanter, wisher, etc. Besides, boats like Cig., OL, Apache, Skater etc. will always get more $$ for their names and maintain their value because of it.:eureka:

I"m not saying anything about the people mentioned above. I'm just laughing at past experiences

Either way, the value of the boat only decreases as it sits at an inflated price... Not to mention the loss from opportunity cost. Had the seller sold that boat for $75K early last fall, that money invested in a good mutual fund that follows the stock market would now have a value of over $85K. I love when people have a $65K boat and think it's worth $85K. A boat is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. If the boat was truly an $85K boat, it would have sold for $85K shortly after it was listed. This boat has been for sale for a long time. Wake up sellers.:eureka: The boat is priced fairly for what it is and will sell close to that price. |

Originally posted by cashbrain As far as 90% of asking..I doubt it..it's been on the market for well over a year and no-one touched it at 85k If it didn't need work - It would be priced over $120k. :D As for no one has touched it at $85k....it was sold 4 times already but the banks would not finance the buyers for 15yrs. Gotta love the Apache experts - OOPS! I mean guys  |
CAP071
what kind of insurance quote did you get for a 32 Sun |
I just asked if anyone knew of the boat!
Chill Out

I will even pay for your airfare if you purchase the boat :)

What is the price then, $85k or $99.9k?
And if it is the latter, has any work been done to the boat since listed at Typhoon for $85K? |
Why is it that Apache threads always turn acrimonious?
