Easy everyone, Dave P. and Typhoon Marine are some of the fairest and nicest people in the offshore industry. Let's face it a boat's value is in the eye of the beholder, owner, wanter, wisher,etc. Besides, boats like Cig., OL, Apache, Skater etc. will always get more $$ for their names and maintain their value because of it.:eureka:

I"m not saying anything about the people mentioned above. I'm just laughing at past experiences

I love when people have a $65K boat and think it's worth $85K.:rolleyes: A boat is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. If the boat was truly an $85K boat, it would have sold for $85K shortly after it was listed. This boat has been for sale for a long time.

The boat is priced fairly for what it is and will sell close to that price.

Bottom line: Stupid people with lots of money can never see the point of selling a little lower and recovering through investment. We have a friend with a $1,000,000+ home that got an offer within $50k of the asking price and didn't sell. He's still sitting on it 12+ months later.
A fool and his money are soon parted unless there is so much around they can't loose it all....

The boat was PURCHASED over a year ago. The boat was legitimately listed for sale 5 months ago. ( count with me 1month -- 2 months - 3 months - 4 months - 5 months :p )

If it didn't need work - It would be priced over $120k. :D

As for no one has touched it at $85k....it was sold 4 times already but the banks would not finance the buyers for 15yrs.
