Todays boat search
The more I look at used boats for sale the better mine looks (think I should raise the price after seeing what others are asking).
Went today to look at a 34 Scarab CC. Boat had been left uncovered all winter, had water in every posible compartment. Every piece of wood on the boat was roted, yet the upholstery vinyl was good ... must have put new upholstery over existing old boards or not bothered to coat anything. Wiring was a disaster, and the little bit of rigging you could easily see was corroded. Basically you would need to strip it to a bare fiberglass hull and start over. But then you'd still get to deal with the barnacle rings.
I did have a nice time talking wih mmwalters, so the trip was a total waste.
On to the next candidate I guess.

Yes true, BUT some boats I looked at last year are still for sale. Asking price is too high and they won't budge. So now it's 1 year later, boat is 1 year older, and they still have the boat 4 sale? Some of these people are asking almost New prices for a boat 2-4 years old. Give me a break and how many hour meters were unplugged
