Default Baja 250 Stainless rails

I have a customer looking for the port grab handle that runs down the side of the engine hatch onto the side of the swim platform on a 1989 Baja sport 250 Really looking for a used one someone has off a wrecked boat or something if not a name of a company that could produce one I have only found one group of people to make the rail that would take on the job, if anyone can help let me know or email at [email protected]

Not available thru the dealer? Call Big Thunder in the Ozarks, maybe they can help. They sell alot of them. You could call Kendor Marine in Milwaukee. They stock a ton of misc parts and have lots of stainless for all kinds of stuff. 414-431-6601 Explain what size and curves and they may have it, OR a matching pair then you could switch your starboard(if applicable)

I beleive Lu is a god person although she probably doesn't know who I am, but other than that there is not a whole lot of Brilliant people there everyone that was good has left, at least from what i understand, I sometimes get a kick out of this board especially with the tech questions etc. everyone is a mechanic and knows exactly the right way to do everything....only most are wrong and to hear a suggestion to ask for something from Big Thunder was funny, He is a successful man don't get me wrong. I was actually looking for this rail for a friend and he already checked with them and even found out who originally made the rail but I beleive he is deceased or at least quit business, so I told him i would give the one last look to see if someon had a used one on here, I found a killer company that can make a new one but they will only make both rails together to be sure they match and are accurate, this is their business practice and I appreciate that and thought their price of $650 for a set of custom rails sounded pretty cheap but the boat owner was as always hoping for something alittle cheaper, In the end i think we will have to get these custom rails made. at least that is what i would do but it's not my money. I didn't mean anything bad by my big thunder comments and if your ever down around the ozarks get ahold of me.

threw one away about four years ago.
getting parts from baja is an expensive and challenging issue.
i needed a windshield piece once, baja wanted over $1,100 for half a windshield. i had a whole new one fabricated for less than $700.
ordered a cabin door lock once from baja's authorized dealer, cost $100 and didn't even come close to working. can anybody say dick simon
