Heck, I wouldn't fly in this wind, much less boat. If I was a drinker I'd be sitting home with my feet up, dipping my snorkel into a big trough of bloody marys.

dyno 03-14-2004 04:18 PM

Not to mention all the ice floating around out there yet!!!

traviss 03-14-2004 05:14 PM

troutly.. why do you worry.. wind does not effect you while you patrol the inside of the donut shop :D

What you up to now. 3-4 dozen creamsticks a day :p

I was trying to talk Mitch into proving the offshore capabilities of the Active Thunder, but alas my powers of persuasion are lacking. :D

I'm in when do you want to go bro......

I would have gone for a ride but it was too soon. it was an offshore wind of 20-40kts from the west so the east side of LM would be calm. The problem was the temp and I did'nt have my snowmobile suit with me. Moisture reading this week and then off to the races. Litterally:D I would stay off the lake for some time still, The ice may not be vissible and may be lurking under the surface ready to attack. That ice is usually clear also so there is great danger Will Robinson:cool: With the wind shifting from east to west that ice is spread out everywhere. Here is the formula I use. Ice=Damage x 4/ your hull.:D

Cord 03-16-2004 01:28 PM

I must of been the apache that had the ice breaking capabilities. :D
