I'd like you guys to give a hearty welcome to our newest member. His name is "Chester". I checked and that screen name is already taken. That's Ok, it's proably better having an alias anyways. :D

The color in the pic is really off. He's really a very light tan with silver tips. I think Deanna is in love. :doggy: :doggy: :doggy:

Well, based off the piles and puddles...I'd have to say that it's a puppy! :doggy: :doggy:

Not as good of a pic, but the colors are true.

CigDaze 03-15-2004 08:46 AM

:doggy: Cute pup.

Downtown42 03-15-2004 08:55 AM

Don't forget to tether him/her down when you're runnin. My old blk lab fell off an old cruiser on Winnebago. I was on the bridge and didn't notice for 5 min!! Wife in tears, did a "U" and found him swimming happily right there where he fell out. Kind of came up to him a little fast. No brakes on boats. He clunked some on the hull as we glided by!! Ahh, we scooped him up and gave him some good WI cheese for his bravery efforts :doggy:

MitchStellin 03-15-2004 09:15 AM

Great Pic Cord, my dog smelled Chester when I got home. See was not too happy I was seeing another dog:D Thanks a ton for making the trip with me, let me know when the guy calls or send me his number and I will call. I don't have a computer at home right now, it is being cleaned of the rip off virus. Thanks again and thanks again to Dee for the lunch. Next time we see each other will be behind the wheel:D

Sydwayz 03-15-2004 09:44 AM

As sick as it is....that's exactly what Waterfoul said. And your cat could kick Chesters ass. What a wimp! :D But he gets all the girls. Let's see how well your cat scores! :D

MitchStellin 03-15-2004 11:39 AM

Jeez, he is only 6 weeks old, he will be medium size and he will be a coon chasing cat eating dog. Plus he will be a swimmer, right Cord.:D

Rforsey 03-15-2004 11:45 AM

got to love the no shedding thing our Lab sheds like crazy I keep tell her next one is a labadoddle :D :D

My wife said that the cat works well :D:D

The fact that FOUL and I came up with the same thing is kind of scarry :D:D

Jon

The no shedding is one of the reasons that we went with a poodle. We've been wanting a dog for a while, but were afraid of the allergies. Had a chance to confirm our hunch this past week and it was just one of those things that she had to have. :doggy:

Outlawcowgirl 03-15-2004 12:31 PM

Too CUTE!
You bringing him to LOTO this summer?

Cord 03-15-2004 12:47 PM

We could. I know that you gals would love him in the cove. Don't forget, he won't be as cuddily by then. I'd also have to check on the condo regs. Now that I think about it, I don't know how well he'd handle the rough water.

Downtown42 03-15-2004 01:49 PM

 :D :D :D

RollWithIt 03-15-2004 01:55 PM

What did you do, bleach him between photos??

Just teasing. Congrats and have fun with him. Im sure he'll be fine on the water.

lol. Yea, that's better. I think I was a couple of feet further back, the flash must of been border line on it's fill capacity. The pooch is still light like what is shown in the second pic.

Trout-sorry, but I already plan on using Chester as bait. Wait, I must be fishing for something other than you. :D

Downtown42 03-15-2004 02:35 PM

A cat guy with poodle....ooooh boy;)

Waterfoul 03-15-2004 05:05 PM

That cat's a dog anyway Tim!!!!!!

And as the only board member other than Mitch to hold the newest member, I gotta say, DAMN is he little!!! Can sit in you hand.

Oh, and Tim, Vickie is using the first picture as the wallpaper on her computer at work. Every time she minimizes a screen, she talks baby talk to him..... guys in her office think she's nuts!! LOL!! :D

Mine has grown into a little Terror of a Rat Terrier :)

If the condo allows dogs ask if they will allow two
I will bring mine :)

They can have a playmate

Downtown42 03-15-2004 05:35 PM

aarf, aarf :doggy:

Downtown42 03-15-2004 05:36 PM

yeah, ask them if I can bring the Newfoundland

Cord 03-16-2004 08:05 AM

We went to a pet store last night to get him some chew toys. Figured I'd drag the pooch along. Don't know why, but we did. I didn't get 15' into the store when the cashier spotted me. The way she was looking at me, I knew she was eyeing the crate. Though she was going to kick us out. We showed her the puppy, and she just melted. In a couple of minutes there were 4 girls all cooing over Chester. This pooch is definetly a ladies dog. Why can't I attract women like this? Definetly should have gotten a dog earlier...

Cord 03-16-2004 08:28 AM

That's funny. Deanna said the same thing last night....

Sydwayz 03-16-2004 08:34 AM

Damn, I wonder if you can rent puppies anywhere...
