Can you put Vinnylester Resin on top of Epoxy? I did a repair with epoxy for strength reasons and I am wondering if I can put Vinnylester on top of the repairs.

no- but you can put epoxy on cured glass.

Bummer. Not a big deal I will just have to use more Epoxy. I was trying to avoid it to keep the costs down plus I do not like to work with the Epoxy.

Dave I was using West System. First it is VERY thick. So it takes a while to soak into the glass. Second it takes FOR EVER to dry in comparison to Poly or Vinnylester. It is VERY hard to get all the air bubbles up to the top.

West system over glass, not the other way around.
Epoxy is the best to attach bulkheads to sides, super strength and flexable.

Mr. Bravo that is kind of what I do but I put down a wet coat first. It helps a lot with the glass soaking up faster.

I use a cheap brush to apply epoxy to suface, then stick cloth, then dab with juice till soaked, can follow with roller if you have one. In my design of my restoration of my Carver for the bahama runs we desided to epoxy bulkheads to sids. That is it. all else is Glass. Alot of flexing on sides,hence a super strong flexable tab to hull sides.
Ps, But I glass tab to hull and stringers from bulheads.
Nuts Eh. But it works, I have busted more tabbing from sides to bulkhead in the past to learn.
