What about this new Mercury outboard that is supercharged that I read a little about in powerboat mag. It was a four stroke outboard with some type of supercharger built into it. I didn't reed the hole article but this thread made me think of it.

Brian's sweetin' $12K ea. for the Yammi's... that Merc thing will probably be $24k ea.!

Two of those SC engines would likely sink his boat because of their weight! Also, he needs reliability and visibility off the stern... don't know that the new Merc can offer that.
