Are these cats in the pics "new" boats, or are they being re rigged.

Are Cheif boats going to be cats or vee's or super cruisers?

I am just confused a little. I always though that Sean and Bobby's expertise were with Vee's.

I think it's awesome whatever you guys end up building. Best of luck.

Brandon,

We offer a bit of everything at the moment. Go check out the website www.chiefpowerboats.com. To answer your question the cats are new, we have V-bottoms, and also the big cruiser. Talk to you soon bro.

Sean

Somewhere there has to be a target for the budget, but imagine doing a post bake cure epoxy lay-up on this hull and throwing some big diesel engines in it.

With the 1350 Cats the boat easily could reach the 80's. 1350’s & 1500’s will require the hull to be really beefy as the extra speed and weight will have a structural affect on the boat if they ever get out into the rough water.

Two 850 Seatek’s have about the same combined weight as the four gas engine packages do but have more torque before reduction than the four gas engines are making with reduction. Even with a shallow reduction ratio, the Seateks will produce an amount of torque equal to five of the gas engines and not have the rigging issues.
