My Dad got a sailboat and said he was going to teach my brother & I how to sail ! My brother was willing but I wanted NO part of it. Off he went, got about 100yds out an flipped over I let them tread water for a while then got in my 18', 330hp donzi did a few 40mph loops around them then save there butts. Ahh the joy of being a young adult. :D Jo

I really have a tough time respecting the average sailor. They are the cheapest people I have even seen. They won't even buy ice at the marinas. They drive into town to save 25c.

My Dad races Sailboats, REAL sailing. He does the Heineken Cup and the Rolex Cup annually. Real speed, real wrecks, and real money. I can respect that kind of sailing.
