The Last Piece Of A Huge Puzzle

Today I complete the final stage of the Free Mitch year. I have decided to make a 180 deg turn in my life and here is how it went. My Marriage was a sham so I ended it, my physical condition was a joke so I went to the gym, lost 20lbs and 4 inches and feel much better, I lost my go fast boat during the Marriage so I am buying another, and last, but not least, my job sucked the life out of me and made me a tense and agitated person, I enjoy my field and have been doing it for 19 years, that is not the problem, it was the place I worked:mad: Now I am going to Huntington Bank, here in Holland MI, and will be able to use the vast Customer base as a tool for success. I will also be giving up the thankless task of Manager, which in reality paid nothing and required 70% of my time in reports, recruiting, meetings and customer service issues...this leaving me with 30% to earn my living. We work on straight Commission and that is it, so I need to spend 100% of my time on earning a living :) I start Monday (don't worry ReBarBox, I have you covered) and can still be reached here, at my e-mail or cell 616-886-0077. I am very excited about this and thought I would share this with you. Now I can truly say "the World is my Oyster"

I just told my boss now so my access to this computer will end very shortly. I am off for the UP to ride one last time so I will talk to you Monday.

Congratualtions

Congratulations for making some very major life decisons and commitments to change all at one time.
Happiness and contentment is everything.

I was divorced 16 years ago and plan to stay that way.

I tired to change jobs too by getting fired and quitting but it did not work for me. I own the company.

Good luck to you.

Scarey at the time but it has all turn out great, met a wonderful gal went to work for someone else doing what i had always done but with alot fewer hours and no weekends. Know if i can just convince the new wife to move to LOTO i would quit my job and move in a heart beat.

Change Is Good!!

I left the car business after 19years this past November. I have gone into business as an Equipment Lease Broker.
I can't tell you how good it feels to get up in the morning and look forward to going to "work" again!

Mitch, sounds like you made some right decisions. Have fun up north :) drive safe....

PatriYacht 03-18-2004 11:54 AM

I was divorced about 17 years ago. I was bored and lonely so I got involved with a lot of activities that I wouldn't have otherwise. I took up snow skiing, joined a couple ski clubs, met my wife who was an avid skier. Now I've skied almost every ski resort in the U.S. and half of Europe. Think of this as an opportunity.

Gordo 03-18-2004 04:45 PM

MitchStellin 03-22-2004 11:17 AM

I made it back, oneasideways run down the highway (with a 25ft trailer) after a truck jackknifed in front of me, I knew he was going to lose it but thought I could get around him. I bailed into the median at slow speed and no snow and drove right out after I talked to the trucker for a minute to make sure he was ok. He sank in the mud and had to wait for a wrecker. He thought it was cool that we were both going sideways at 60 and we both pulled it off, I told him I was practicing for NASCAR:D The riding was great, at least 5 ft of snow and the trails were perfect. Thanks for all the well wishes, the boat will be unvieled soon, I have the surveyor going out thursday. You guys are great, this weekend was the best not having to worry about this job anymore, i was a wreck for a week and slept until 10 on friday from all the sleepless nights. All is good now, except the temps. It is back to being me again.:D And someone else on weekends:D

Shane 03-22-2004 11:33 AM

AWESOME STORY! We rode this weekend too. This weeks warm temps are probably going to put a kabosh on things. Will likely get the SKater out this weekend to begin spring projects. Best wishes Mitch.:)

Ange 03-22-2004 11:42 AM

traviss 03-22-2004 01:15 PM
