The Lake was too cool. Completely like a kid my first time there.

The lake was the coolest place I ever tested at, not so much for the facilities but for the history of the lake. You could almost feel it when you entered the gate.

You want a job testing at the lake, think again. I watched these guys go round and round all day long, don't think I could find a better way to make boating boring. Especially when you have to run for 16 hours at 2500 rpm....yawn......yea there have been a few that have fallen asleep at the wheel. Not a glamorous job.

Guess they wanted to see how a real outboard ran . Either that or how they shifted gears

Yeah, your probably right, I didnt realize they did that type of testing too, I just figured it would be cool to see all the good stuff come in, and meet all the people associated.

Our crew chief worked there, started testing then became the #6 guy. He spent an entire summer testing a 2hp motor.
