Update on 260 Sonic Prowler (Test run)
 

Just made my first test run…and here is an update for those of you that were interested in the speed of this boat, and a quick recap for those that didn’t read my previous thread. 2004 260 Sonic Prowler 500EFI with ITS. One of the first to be completely built with the new vacuum infusion process and carbon fiber engine cover. I still have not been able to obtain the exact weight.

Anyway, here were the conditions: Two guys (approx. 170lb.s each), fuel tank (approx.15gal), holding tank (empty), non-lab 26 prop, and ambient temp.(67 degrees) on smooth fresh water.

Our first run up the lake, it ran 74mph @ 5300rpms and our run back, it ran 76mph @5400rpms on GPS.

Those sounds like respectable numbers for a stock boat without steps.
