Small world! I also grew up at "The Shore" and couldn't wait until the races came every year (the pits were at a marina just down the street). Met Rocky Aoki twice..once as a kid and last year(?) at a restaurant opening in Miami Beach.

My father let me start taking his 17 ft. Glaspar with a 75 Evinrude on it out at 15.

I was spending summers at the lake driving around in this boat. Which I still have and use often! 1972 Glastron GT140 with a 1972 Mercury 50 hp 4 banger. Runs like a watch.
