Apache loyalists want to see an EXACT replica with no changes and that's why the ongoing verbal exchanges...but in all fairness Cig made changes and they are for the better by adding steps...Fountain had a ballast tank in a smaller boat to keep the bow down...I think he dumped the idea....from everything said I would by a new boat only after a good test run since it is essentially a new boat with an old name...I would have done the same with a Cig with steps...and they did a great job...hope you guys did too....but why so much power 2500Hp for such a light weight boat?

....if it isn't broke don't fix it is the message I think I am hearing...
