Kids say the DARNDEST things!
The following happened this past Friday, March 19, 2004. A regular OSO lurker, with a post count less than 10, and GREAT friend to many on the board, (one of my personal closest of friends) has been researching the purchase of a new boat this spring. He recently located a boat that he was interested in. When he showed the pictures to his wife and son, the following dialogue ensued...
"Dad, if you buy that boat you are gonna have to get me a babysitter for the marina." "Why is that son?" "Cuz I will NOT be seen in a boat with those graphics!" LMAO! The boat...a left over FORMULA 382 with STORM graphics. Sorry Troutly, but this was TOO FUNNY to NOT post. ;) |

I was at the race car shop with my 10 yr old talking to the owner who races boats..... sailboats.
My son comes in 1/2 way to the conversation, "You've got a boat Jimmy?" Jimmy says, "Yeah, you know what a sailboat is?" with a smile... My son, Branden, pauses, and says "Umm..... slow?":p |
