Thumbs up Holy cow!! I can't beleive the sound!!!

I just got my home speakers back from the repair shop. $91 bucks to fix 3 drivers. As some of you may recall, my old roomette knocked one of my speakers off the stand and wrecked it. I believe he also blew up my sub playing it too loud... the spider coil had come apart... too much power, and I don't beat my speakers (my truck stereo is another story!!). Anyway, The Circuit Shop in Grand Rapids fixed them both (and put a new surround on my other driver so they would match) and I can't believe what I've been missing for the last 6+ months!! I forgot what surround sound was like... forgot what it feels like to have the floor vibrate.... it's awesome!! Now I need to go rent a movie!!

They also tell me they can fix my JL Audio truck subs, which are nearly 9 years old and need new surrounds and cones. $35 each and they will be like new. Judging by the sound and appearance of the ones I just put back together, I think I'm going to go this route instead of buying new subs (replacements are $99 each... see the savings??). And he guarantees his work.

I love saving money!!!!

Now Mike,
The question is.. do you thank your old room mate for giving you the opportunity to relive the good life.. or are you still P*** cause he broke them in the first place?

Just kidding.. I remember a situation I went thru a year or two ago.. same feelings.
Now I have a new amp in the boat, didnt know what music could do to you at 70mph.. great feeling

Traviss, we rode hard this past weekend, the trails were great but Sunday they were hard as a rock, we couldn't go off trail because we were riding on top of the snow. I am at 3000 miles this year and 400 to 10,000 for 3 years. Not bad for being married during most of this time. There was little traffic and you could even get into town. Next year we need to ride, I left the trailer and sleds up North so I still have one more chance. After Easter if there is snow I am there. Want to go?
