The Good Business/People List
We have a list for the bad guys (Thanks Offshore Only)
Maybe the board gods will start a category based on persons and businesses that go above and beyond in a positive way (Good Business/Persons) then we could give credit where credit is due also would be nice to have a spot dedicated totally to the GOOD and POSITIVE about offshore boating what does everyone think ??? Steve can it be done ???? |
wow no comments ??

Put "Apache" in there somewhere and then it'll get responses:D
Seriously, I think it is a good idea. Vern |
I suggested this as well.
Punish the bad folks, reward the good. Makes sense to me, hope Steve will give it some consideration.:) |
I like that idea, everyone (not just here, but in general) is always so quick to talk about the "bad" people, let's also recognize the good ones! This way we know right where to go when we need something to get done right the first time...:)
|
Let's do it! I just hope it's not a very short list! :p
|
Hehehe....good point Cuda:D ;)

I agree it would be useful only if the forum is really objective and truthful. Saying that a manufacturer, dealer or vendor is great because they are an OSO advertiser, would an insult to our members. Everything posted on this new specific forum should be the absolute truth with no fluff and no holding back! Otherwise, it would be worthless. For example, let's look at Power Boat Magazine... even the garbage boats (advertisers) get awards in some category, like "Best Rear Deck pad Upholstery for a Triple Stern Drive Cat under 25 feet
|
Good is a given, bad should be in the appropraite section. Would probably just be a Spam section for people that do not advertise.

I have a few to add to the "good" list:
1. Dana Marine Products: the guys are very professional, informative, they email and call you back even. Great to order parts from even on the east coast. 2. Masterlube: another great experience. 3. Stern Lock: as noted above. These companies actually returned calls and emails "promptly", and it was actually refreshing for a change in the marine industry. Adam |
