Doug Lewis needs your prayers
 

Doug was readmitted to the hospital last night.... He is experiencing pain from a bone marrow procedure...... and will be starting a new round of chemo therapy... to try and reverse his bone cancer growth. As always he is confident, positive and courageous..... and continues to define the word "hero" in its truest sense.

Doug is at Brick Hospital in Brick, New Jersey..... room 504B..... I'm sure cards would be appreciated as well.

God bless him and all of you who have prayed so fervently through this struggle.

Doug has been moved to another hospital and a procedure called Plasmaphersis has been started to rid his blood of a nasty build up of calcium and other contaminants...... after just 12 hours his condition has improved dramatically....and he will be able to go home Sunday and rest..... On Monday.... aserious round of CHemo will start ....and this where we need to focus...... because the intent here is to reverse the bone deterioration and cancer growth.....

Doug, as always, is "helping" the doctors and making sure that the job is done correctly.

Go get them nasty little cells buddy.......... It's Pac Man time.

i am glad you posted that we were just getting ready to call brick hos. he sure is making it hard for us to keep up. i e-mail, but tell him we said hi.

I'll pass it along......... I know how much you guys all mean to each other....even in your "secret identity".

For the record Doug is now at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune, NJ

He will be receiving his Chemo there next week....but hopefully on a semi-outpatient basis.... I'll try and keep you posted.
