Power sorry we missed you. We made the attempt to get out but we had a close call with an oversize bulldozer on I 89, it looked real dark and started to rain, things didnt feel right from the beginning, so we turned around and went home.
As GL simply stated it, "theres always tomorrow". Guess its all good then

Default Looking forward to the Milk Run

I thought I'd point that out........... I will be drinking only Genesee beer this year..... I'm trying to get the East Coast Marine Gang interested in the run...... The course is a little short for the 36' Skaters out of Professional Marine.

Keep us posted.

Went out today, had to get those last few hours of break in over with. Nice, balmy day out on the lake. Water temp of 39, air temp of almost 50, north winds, overcast, what a great boating day.

Not.

Went out Thursday and Friday. Short runs each time. Got wet at the dock Thursday. Boat ran great but having rattling issue with the silent thunder exhaust. Will need to pull boat back out and take off thunder box and see what is going on. It was 3' waves both days. The extra 6+ feet of new boat made a BIG difference. Saw 65+ on gps but didn't dial in trim due to 3 footers. Need nice 1' chop day for that ( hopefully tomorrow)

Powerguy, a 336 I service had 2 loose baffles inside the platform, probably your rattling noise as well.

GL, the motor is almost in the hole,4 bolts to go

Rich, is that what all really old guys drink?

Airpacker - What did you do to repair the loose baffles?

Powerguy, the owner opted to remove the platform, install an aluminum one and add corsa full time mufflers to meet our new laws. I just filled and gelcoated all the old mounting holes and added the new platform and muffies

Power, i'm sure the xtra 6' makes all the difference. Heck, i just got the first 10 hours on my new ride, which is sweet so far, and i am already thinking of a 35 for next year.

Not as big as the 42 that keeps leading the way, but he is the Lake Champlain Ambassador after all.
