BTW the only ticket they would issue would be us and that does not warrant $80k a year in patrols and we are never around long enough for them to ticket us.

Besides the $ for the tickets would be marginal and never financially viable for them....remember the unusual punishment thing in the constitution, there is NO one on this lake that's why we have peace of mind.

Hey, I'm not whining. I enjoy the sound of power.....it's just when one person with a loud boat puts on a show at the most crowded (only) bar/restaurant in Burlington and acts like an idiot it makes the rest of the people with loud boats look like idiots by default. Maybe that's ok in Plattsburgh but......... I was there when you came it..... you got to the dock and you turned your motors off. Did you have your mufflers on? Why?

I have to agree with Powerguy on this one.... I myself love the loud exhaust, and try to run them 99% of the time. But at a crowded dock/reataurant I run the mufflers and turn off ASAP. It doesn't take a law to stop us from going places with loud boats. A bunch of complaints from customers, and next thing you know, where not aloud there anymore. Just think of that anoing Jet ski that's buzzing around the area your anchored in.... He's not half as loud as us, but he sure gets on our nerves..
