Default what gives

Do you people here on oso feel it is OK to wear i cigarette shirt to school? the school officials cant seem to make the difference between a boat racing company and tobacco products and the dress code has no statement that you " can't support offshore powerboats" so i don't see what the dig deal is

If you really want to pursue it, all you have to do is contact a local news organization.

They eat schools for breakfast over their ridiculous and loose rules.

For instance: CNN, Fox, etc always have a story about a child being sent home, suspended, even expelled for a shirt or other article of clothing that an opinionated faculty member didn't like.

I would be pretty funny.

All it has to say is Cigarette and the news media will turn on you whether it is a boat or a tobacco company. I think this is a losing proposition.

Oh, I'd go after the school 100% - the local newspapers, TV stations, Fox News, you name it I'd be on the phone.

Exposing stupid people is great fun but it can be a full time job...

Yep, like others have said, you should contact the local news - they LOVE to show public officials that have their head up their ass. Fox News might run with it as well, try the "Tongue-Tied" feature on their website. You might want to try Bill O'Reilly as well - ya never know until you try.

I'd have the true history of the name available as well, so you can really make a good case for yourself.
